The purpose of Canine Partners is to assist people with disabilities to enjoy a greater independence and quality of life.  Where possible it also helps them in to education and employment through the provision of specially trained dogs whose well-being is a key consideration.

Kev ran his first Berlin marathon with me (my 2nd) last September.  Kev's Mum sadly died suddenly at the beginning of September due to complications from a stroke.  Had she survived we realised she could have been one of those people who may have benefited from a Canine Partner.  We ran the 2011 Marathon therefore both for canine partners and in her memory.  After the marathon we were kindly invivted to the Satellite training centre in Southampton where we met our sponsor dog Alice.  It was here that it was reinforced to us how important both the training and veterinary care of these dogs, right from early puppyhood is.  But to achieve all this Canine Partners has to rely on public donations.  Kev and I believe that this charity deserves our ongoing support.  Also being in the dog training sector we appreciate all the hard work that is put in, the majority of times by volunteers, to achieve outstanding dog teams.

We would really appreciate your support in any way you can offer, take a look at their web page and be inspired!

Please donate to our cause if you can.

Thankyou,

Kev & Netty
