Sadly on May 9th 2014 my whole life changed. I lost the most wonderful, courageous, brave mum I could of ever of wished for. She was suffering with bladder and lung cancer.

Whilst my mum was ill, we sought support in the wonderful charity Havens where my mum would go to day classes and go for respite care. Not only did Havens give my mum a lifeline they gave me so much support too and helped me come to terms with the situation we was in. 

Sadly, the time came when my mum slipped away Havens looked after my mum right until the very end. Knowing that she knew she was there and was happy goes to show the good work that they do.

No amount of money I raise could even begin to thank havens for what they have done,but knowing that the money I raise could help another family in these awful circumstances would make my mum proud.

I ran the marathon in 2015 and my aim this year is to beat my time and raise more than last year.
