Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund in partnership with Cancer Research UK, following the death of her husband, Bobby Moore, from bowel cancer. The Bobby Moore Fund is now a leader in the fight against bowel cancer, funding research that’s helping more people to survive than ever before.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Kevin Driscoll and my good friend and fellow West Ham Season Ticket holder, Neil Hutson came up with the idea to walk around every Football Club in London to raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund and St Nicholas Hospice in Bury St Edmunds.

My Dad Dennis sadly passed away suddenly in March last year from stomach cancer after spending 2 weeks in the local hospice, so Neil suggested we do something in his memory. We are starting our 73 mile walk from West Ham's ground on Thursday 3rd April, ending up that night at Brentford then at 6am the next morning we head off across to South London to end up that evening at Dagenham & Redbridge. We are also hoping to set a new entry into The Guinness Book of Records for the time completed.

We have set up 2 pages in my Dads name so that you have the choice to donate to either St Nicholas Hospice (www.justgiving.com/walk4dennis)  or this page for The Bobby Moore Fund or both :)

Thanks for reading the page and any donation is much appreciated.
