We believe every moment matters so we go above and beyond to help our patients and their families make the most of every moment they have left. All our services are free of charge. We receive 33% of our funding from the NHS and rely on donations to raise the extra £13m we need each year.

Story

Kevin wrote on 21st September 2015:  With my 61 years I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy a varied and interesting life. I wish to make my last months positive by offering other palliative patients and their carers short trips through nature on my narrowboat - 'Daydream'.

Sadly Kevin died 5 weeks later on 28th October from his various cancers and never managed to finish his dream of getting Daydream south and then onto Bristol.  He was hoping to raise £1,500 for palliative care patients and reached the grand total of £980 with £520 to go.  So I would like to finish this part of his dream in his memory.  I appreciate you have all been very generous but I wondered if you pass this post onto others and see how close we can get.

Many thanks for your amazing support.  Kayla Mead (Kevin's partner)
