During the last four years the surgeons and nurses at Macclesfield Hospital saved my life, twice! First, when my colon burst due to diverticular disease, and then again two years later when my bowel twisted and closed completely. Mr Khan and his team were fantastic, as were the nurses on Male Surgical Ward 1. I wouldn't be here if it hadn't been for them.
