The Kidney Cancer Support Network (KCSN) is the largest and most active patient-led charity, supporting the largest network of kidney cancer patients and carers across the UK. They strive to improve the lives of those affected by kidney cancer by advocating for the best possible clinical care and treatment, raising awareness and providing vital support and information to anyone affected by kidney cancer. The KCSN is widely recognized as the specialist charity for kidney cancer in the UK, led by patients for patients.

Mark and I hope that you can support us in our effort to raise our target of £500 for KCSN, an amazing  charity which provides a safe space to seek clarity and guidance based on evidence and lived experience. It provides so much practical and emotional support for many families suffering the effects of kidney cancer, including our own family over the last 4-5 years. 

We were due to enable our fundraising by taking part in the Great North Run 2020 on September 13; however, the 2020 event has been cancelled due to COVID-19, and so, to ensure that we raise as much money for the Kidney Cancer Support Network as possible this year, we are  planning to carry out our fundraising activities over the period 1-13 July 2020. The theme of the activities being 1&3; representing the 13.1 miles of the Great North Run.

Mark's activities; for 1-12 July (each day) he will be doing:- 

** 1300 skips + 5km (3.1 mile) run on day 1 ** then 1300 skips + 5km (3.1 mile) cycle on day 2 ** then repeat day 1 on day 3 ** then repeat day 2 on day 4 ** etc to day 12.

Kevin's activities; for 1-12 July (each day) he will be doing a:-

Finally, on 13 July, we will complete our fundraising activities together with a   :-                 ****      13.1km RUN        ****

All our activities will take place in accordance with Government guidelines at the time.
