My name is Keyra and I am 7 years old. When I was 4, my mummy took me to the doctors and that’s when my life changed forever. I was diagnosed with T1D. 

T1D never goes away. I can’t take medication to get rid of it. It’s part of me and I have had to, along with my family, learn to live with it. 

Most days are ok but some days are not great. My mummy says i am a daily scientific experiment. No 2 days are the same.  

Me and my big sister will be conquering the 2.5km  course to raise money for a great charity.
