Warwick in Africa

Warwick in Africa · 21 February 2016
Hello
I'm taking part in an incredible programme this year which is helping children in Africa get a better education in Maths and English. The programme has been running for 10 years now, and this year I will be spending 6 weeks of my summer teaching Maths in Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa. I can not wait to get stuck in, but first let's raise some money to ensure Warwick in Africa can continue to expand over the next 10 years!
All the money I raise will go straight into the programme, and help fund volunteers next year. Although I have been told to raise £1,000, this is something that I believe benefits everyone involved and I really want to raise more.
Currently anyone who donates £10 can sponsor one of my days in Soweto between the 22nd July to the 4th September and receive a postcard telling you about that day.
But keep updated for more sponsoring ideas and fundraising events!
Any thing you donate will be truly appreciated.
To keep in touch and see how I'm getting on, please check out my blog where I will be posting updates on the fundraising process and also my experience once I'm there.
