UPDATE! : A huge THANK YOU to all the amazing donations that were received for the event last year, but guess what... I'm doing it again - and for real this time! This is the actual, running around the streets of London on October 3^rd 2021 is going to be an amazing experience and a life goal of mine. Even better to do it for a great cause. I'd love to raise even more money for the DMRC so if you can I'd hugely appreciate the support!!

Hi Everyone!

Some of you may know that my brother Alex went through a bit of a life changing experience in July 2018 when he had a very serious stroke. Being in the military family he has been fortunate enough to receive outstanding support right from the beginning, from being in hospital to where he is now in Stanford Hall. He's received speech and language therapy to get him back reading and writing properly (he needed absolutely no help talking!) and physiotherapy to get him walking without the use of any walking stick or wheelchair.

So I've decided to give something back on his behalf. Call me crazy/lucky but I've secured a ballot place in the London Marathon 2020 and will be raising money for the DMRC (Defence Military Rehabilitation Centre) in Loughborough, as they have given so much to Alex. So if you can spare a couple of quid and can send it my way to help me around the 26.2 miles!!!!! of London 2020 I would be extremely grateful. You'll be helping me give back something to a place that has helped my family immensely but also to future families who may experience something similar.
