On the 11/6/2018 Elaine Figgins was diagnosed with Secondary Metastatic Cancer. She passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family on Monday the 29/6/2020. 

Following her diagnosis she was incredibly passionate about both raising awareness and helping find a cure for this incurable condition.  The charity Make 2nds Count are raising funds for both research and to increase the quality of life for patients with this disease.
