Charity Bungee Jump · 14 May 2011

We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Wanting to raise more money this year for charity, I've been offered the chance to do a 175ft bungee jump off a crane on Palace Green (opposite the cathedral), in Durham.

The bungee jump will be on Saturday 14th May on Palace Green and  am hoping to raise a minimum of £100 for the Army Benevolent Fund (aka ABF). The bungee jump itself will cost £50 and therefore I will pay this myself so that all money donated on here will go directly to the charity!

The Army Benevolent Fund give lifetime support to serving and retired soldiers as well as their families.

Please check out their website at www.soldierscharity.org.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So if you can, please donate for this very worthy cause!

Thanks!
