I always assumed potty training would be hard, but that it would ‘just happen’ over a few weeks. Milo and Mia were incredible and went from nappies to dry so quickly and easily. Beatrice however had a negative experience when she was younger with the toilet and still cannot and will not let go of nappies.  I had horrible mum guilt that I wasn’t trying hard enough or pushing her enough and so we had an horrendous week of potty training last month where she’d go 16/18 hours without a wee. 

I didn’t know where to go for help until this amazing charity was suggested.  There is so much information on the website to help parents with a whole raft of questions and the helpline team have been so supportive that I’m keen to give back. 

Any pennies you can spare will make a huge impact to this charity and the many parents, guardians and carers that find themselves needing to access their help. 

I don’t like to make life easy for myself so I’ll be running 50km from Moors Valley country park to Hengistbury Head on Saturday 16th October.  If you’re local, come on down and shout at me as I go past!!
