An anonymous donator has offered a raffle prize of 1x Ethereum cryptocurrency. After originaly putting the Ethereum as a raffle prize, I have spoken to people in the community and have come to the decision that the 1 Ethereum should be sold around the raffle time and the value of the Ethereum token goes directly to the campaign. At the current price of Ethereum it is worth around £490. Ethereum is incredibly volatile and on the date of sale it could have a very different value than what it has today.

Thanks

To give Kira the best hope of continuing her life free from this disease, she needs potentially life-saving surgery in the USA. Kira’s parents and her cancer specialist have identified a world-renowned surgeon who specialises in the most difficult to remove tumours. The hope is that he can completely remove Kira’s remaining growth in an operation at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York, USA. Desperate for Kira to have the best chance of life, Aud and Ronnie are appealing for your help to raise £340,000 by 10th May to cover the cost of the treatment, the associated costs of accessing the treatment and ensure a contingency fund for any unforeseen complications whilst overseas. The survival rate for relapsed neuroblastoma is less than 10%, this worsens every time the cancer comes back.

Kira says, “I could complain and refuse to do it but where would that get me? Nowhere. What would it change? Nothing. I have relapsed neuroblastoma and I need to go through the treatment. There’s just no choice other than to keep going.” Mum Aud, says, “This is the stuff nightmares are made of. I’m feeling so scared, I have to remind myself to breathe. We must get Kira to New York for this potentially life-saving surgery. Childhood and teenage cancer doesn’t discriminate, it doesn’t care who it targets, and it just happens to be Kira who’s had this monster of a disease three times. Kira takes on the challenges that neuroblastoma has thrown at her head on, with determination, power, resilience and humour. But try to imagine if it was your son or daughter in this awful situation. Please help us give our gorgeous girl a chance of beating this disease.” Kira reveals “It has always been a dream of mine to visit New York. Never ever did I imagine that I would have a debut visit to this city for life-saving surgery, but it doesn't get much more special than getting my life back."
