As part of my Architecture studies at the University of Nottingham, I will be participating in the design and construction of an early childhood development centre in the rural Limpopo region of South Africa during my Easter break. 

This is an invaluable opportunity to bring real change to a deprived village. The project endeavours to replace a corrugated metal structure that is currently used for teaching with a fully functional facility comprised of three teaching areas. We hope this will enable further children, currently on the waiting list, to receive daycare and education and allow the creche to grow and thrive in the future.

I will be funding my own travel, accommodation and food, ensuring all money I fundraise goes towards materials and equipment needed for construction. We will be locally sourcing material and sub-contractors within the community.
