Cutting my hair · 2 November 2013

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Cancer sucks. And even more so for young children. The Little Princess Trust offers support to children going chemotherapy, by providing them with free wigs. The cost of one wig to the charity is on average £350 which is the amount I am trying to fundraise. But why not more?

I am also donating 1 metre of my hair to the trust, which will then be sent to the factory in China in exchange for a large number of children’s wigs which the Little Princess Trust may use free of charge. These wigs, manufactured in particularly small sizes, can normally cost up to £2,000 each.

Every little counts, so please donate: we have 3 weeks!

Thank you so much,

Kiran
