On 23 September at around 3-4 am I will be setting out to swim the Channel with three friends in an all lady relay team.  Apparently I will be starting the swim - in the dark - and we're hoping we can finish within 16 hours.

I'm swimming to raise money for Ty Olwen hospice in Swansea, Wales.  They help people who have cancer and other incurable diseases to die in dignity and without pain.  They give families like mine the help and support they need to deal with the inconceivable
