Hello! Thanks for having a butchers at my page :) I am taking part in 4 bike events this summer totalling 270 miles and would love to be able to raise some money for The Christie! I work at The Christie on the combined Teenage and young adult oncology/haematology/transplant ward (Palatine) and the work they do is incredible! As well as the treatments and support patients and their families receive the research and education carried out by The Christie makes it one of the leading oncology centres in Europe and it's right here in Manchester!!! So please dig deep and give what you can! It'd be amazing if I could raise a £1 a mile but if you could smash that target for me I would be over the moon because every penny counts! I know there are hundreds of requests for donations shoved in your grill these days but all I ask is a £1 or whatever you can manage! 1 in 3 will get cancer and as many survive as die from it so let's get a shed load of cash to The Christie so the research boffins can make that 80% of people survive and one day 100%!  (They'll need more than £270 but ya get me?! :))
