I’ve decided to take on the challenge of running the London Marathon in April 2023 in support of the amazing charity, The Caudwell Children.

The aims of Caudwell Children charity are:

• To change the futures of all disabled children providing access to the services, equipment, therapies and treatments they need.
• To increase awareness and understanding of the needs of disabled children across the UK.
• To enable disabled children to lead an active and independent life reaching their full potential.
• To enable disabled children to lead ordinary lives.

My beautiful daughter, Heidi, is14 years old. Heidi has severe cerebral palsy, bulbar palsy and complex medical needs. The Caudwell Children have supported Heidi and our family – funding a treatment programme with a specialised therapy centre in Newry.

I would dearly love to return the support that Caudwell Children gave to Heidi, in the knowledge that it will go towards helping other children and families like us.
