Windward Day Services is a service for adults with a disability/learning disability, we run four independent centres in Totton (Windward), Ringwood (Spiral Blue), Verwood (Helix) and Chandlers Ford (Thrive) and a community group in New Milton (Cheers). We like to make days interesting and meaningful and have lots of activities to choose from. We create an environment where it's easy to make friends in a vibrant atmosphere.

I have worked for Windward Day Services for a little shy of 6 years. In that time I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing people who attend the service. People who face many challenges each day with a smile and the support they show to others is outstanding! They have pushed me to learn new things, not only about how to be great support worker, but about myself.  They are a bunch of inspirational people who I wish to support to do and try anything they can imagine. 

Your money will help towards a variety of things that can include;  holidays that they may be unable to afford or unable to go on because of their level of care (these can be local or abroad. I’ve learnt to ski off my own back just so that the guys could go on a skiing holiday) It can go towards vital equipment that would enable them to carry out simple daily tasks for example, helping them access the service/community, specialist  communication/sensory equipment.  It can help go toward day trips that could be hugely beneficial to their mental wellbeing and a variety of other things.

Please help me raise some money to give back to these truly inspiration people that I adore working for and helping them achieve whatever they put their minds towards!
