From an early age I was cared for by the Team at the Craniofacial Unit in Oxford Hospital.
Soon after i was born Doctors discovered things were not quite right... Undergoing my first major operation at the age of six months old, Doctors soon discovered I had Lymphangiomas (rare benign congenital tumours) on the side of my face, and most aggrevely in my eye. I was constantly in and out of Hospital, undergoing over 40 operations to try and make me better.. This was both physically and mentally exhausting...
I was often in Hospital througout my school years, resulting in allot of time away from Class...
After years of trying, it was agreed the best form of action would be to remove my eye and Anophalmic Socket.
The Craniofacial Unit are Amazing, from the Surgeons who operated on me, the Doctors and Nurses who looked after me, to the Teachers who kept my schooling up whilst i was recovering... You have completely changed my life, and i will try my very Best to rasie as much Money as I can to say THANK YOU....
