Story

Kirsty: Most of the week I’m a Pioneer Team Vicar in the Parish of the Harwich Peninsula but I’m also a Chaplain for the Army based at Colchester.  I’m one of the chaplaincy team (Regulars, Reserves and OCMs like me) who are willing to jump from 13,000 feet and free fall at 120mph in order to raise funds for the Airborne Gunner Trust and Montgomery Junior School Colchester.

Inspired and supported by the Red Devils, the official parachute display team of the British Army and The Parachute Regiment based in Colchester, we want to support the Airborne Gunner Trust and Montgomery Junior School

Montgomery Junior School is a local and welcoming school sited on the garrison estate and has a history of strong links with the military. They are seeking funds to purchase athletics kits for the school children.

The Airborne Gunner Trust is the official charity of 7th Parachute Regiment Royal Horse Artillery.

Airborne Gunner Trust: Our mission is to enhance support to and wellbeing of our serving Soldiers, Veterans, their families and where possible the local community. The Airborne Gunner Trust is a registered Charity and is managed in our own time by serving Trustees around our full time jobs. 100% of the monies donated go into the Charity in line with mission statement.
