Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Kit Wilson Trust for Animal Welfare is appealing for donations towards our Christmas Food Appeal.  Winter is always our most expensive time at the Rescue Centre and with Covid-19 affecting all our fundraising this year, now more than ever we need your donations.

Our Appeal is so important in helping us feed the many animals in our care over Christmas and into the New Year. All our dogs and cats at the Centre deserve a home to call their own, and while they are waiting for that special person to come along to make it a reality for them, we try our best to make their Christmas as happy as it can be! With your help we can do that.

Although we usually have donation boxes at host sites around Sussex and Kent, this year it will be very different with some businesses not able to take a box due to closure or simply not wanting to encourage a larger footfall during these uncertain times.

We know it's not always possible for people, who want to donate, to get to the ones that will still be able to have a donation box  which is why we have set up our JustGiving page for monetary donations.

The Rescue Centre caters for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and rodents, and is also a permanent home to other animals such as, ponies, goats, birds and sheep.  The Centre is also involved in the rehabilitation of wildlife.

Thank you so much for thinking of the animals at this time of year. We, and the animals, really do appreciate it.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
