Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Friday 3rd June I, along with lots of Boo's friends and family, will be embarking on a 113+ (depending on the least hilly route!) bike ride in memory of the most gorgeous girl, Boo. We will be cycling en mass from London to Boo's favourite place, Aldeburgh.

After fighting for years with depression,  Boo tragically lost her battle with depression and committed suicide on July 29th 2015. We all hold so many fond memories of her smile and indisputable kindness and
loyalty. No matter where she was, Boo's laughter filled the room, street and county if you listened hard enough.

As you may know, fitness is not my strongest skill but, with Boo cheering us all on, I know that we can find every inch of energy to achieve our goal and raise money for such a great cause and ensure that depression is not taBOO!

'It is the set of the sails, not the direction of the wind that determines which way we will go' Jim Rohn,  which is why this charity and awareness is so important. The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust whose vision is "of a world where people understand and talk openly about depression, where young people know how to maintain well-being, and where the most appropriate treatment is available to everyone who needs it".
