Brighton Marathon 2014 · 6 April 2014 ·

The Multiple System Atrophy Trust is the UK and Ireland's only charity dedicated to providing specialist support to all those affected by MSA; a life-limiting neurodegenerative brain disease. We rely entirely on voluntary donations to provide our free support services.

Story

On the 6th of April the Knowles' sisters will be running a combined distance of 52.8 miles at The Brighton Marathon.

Why the madness, the shin splints, the lack of alcohol and weekends?

Well our dear and lifelong friend's mum, Chris Kennedy, was diagnosed with MSA two years ago. A rare and progressive neurological disease affecting men and women. It's random, meaning it could affect any one of us.

We're moved by Chris' grace, inner strength and positive attitude living with this condition we all know actually very little about and we hope that the money you kindly donate and the miles we run will enable the MSA trust to continue their epic support for those with MSA and their families and help fund research into the causes and treatment of MSA.

Thank you,

Knowles 1 & 2 xx
