Catenian walk for Child Rescue Nepal · 19 October 2019

Child Rescue Nepal frees children from slavery. We rescue children, keep them safe and reunite them with their families. Child Rescue Nepal has rescued over 1,000 children but our work is far from over. We want to end child slavery in Nepal and we won’t stop until every child is free.

Story

Thanks for visiting this JustGiving page.

In Nepal, many children are tricked by false promises of work. They end up in horrific situations where they are forced to work for nothing, vulnerable to abuse, neglect and sexual assault.

Child Rescue Nepal attempts to break this cycle by prosecuting traffickers, rescuing children and either reuniting them with their families or providing them with long-term care.

Many of children we rescue have given up all hope of being found - and it takes them a long time to try and work through the emotional and physical scars of their past. It's our greatest joy to see children rediscovering their childhoods and going back to school to finish their
education.

On Remembrance Sunday, November 10th a team of Knutsford Catenians are walking over 10 miles with Just Giving sponsorship to raise money for one of our care homes in Kathmandu.

Thank you for your generosity - every donation really does make a difference.
