On 31st July 2016, my mother Paulette Johnson lost her 5 year battle with breast cancer which evolved into liver cancer. On that day I lost my world. Since then I have seen many friends lose their mothers and fathers to cancer. It breaks my heart to know more people could go through what I went through and still go through. 

So with my mum’s 2 year memoriam coming up and thinking about what I could do. I wanted to do something that could help others by way of shaving off my hair. Although my mother did not lose her hair this is what a lot of women go through and so I have decided to shave mines as a symbol of this. So I can more so relate to how some women feel during this time being stripped of part of their womanhood.

This is going to be the scariest thing I have ever done but it’s worth it. You taking the timeout to help me reach and possibly surpass my goal by way of donating or even just sharing the page to your friends means the world. I just want to make sure my angel knows everyday I think about her miss her and want to do my part in helping other people just like her. 

I will be shaving my hair on the 31st July 2018 I hope you all are able to help me with this fundraiser.
