We support the RVC's animal hospitals to help them treat 20,000 animals a year

Story

Kraken was a cat like no other, in his short but very full time here he made an impact on so many of our lives. No one knows this more than his family, Fin & Sarah. He was a cheeky, bombastic, and affable cat. He made friends with cats and humans alike. He broke into our houses and our hearts, and he’d regularly put a smile on our faces.

Sadly he was taken too soon by a mystery illness causing feline panleukopenia that is currently spreading in the UK. We’ve set up this page to support the Royal Veterinary College who gave him care in his final days and are trying to find the cause. To honour Kraken’s memory who was a well loved cat by many, and to show our empathy for his family in such a difficult time.

You can find out more about the rise in cases like Krakens here: https://www.rvc.ac.uk/news-and-events/rvc-news/rvc-study-to-investigate-mysterious-recent-spike-in-severe-feline-pancytopenia-cases

❤️ We love you Kraken, hope you’re enjoying all the baked goods wherever you are 🥖
