At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As a group of staff at Ashfield School we have been keen to do something together to raise money and awareness for charity. The challenge we decided on was the 3 Peaks Challenge. This seemed like an easy challenge until I looked into it!! It involves walking the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24hours.

The two Charities the Ashfield School staff have chosen to support are very proactive in their work and raise awareness wherever possible.

I have chosen to support the Alzheimer's society. As some of you may know my Grandfather passed away after struggling with the disease. Their work in raising awareness and supporting the families of those affected by Dementia is paramount and anything I can do to help this very worthwhile cause is miniscule in comparison to the help they provide.

I hope you see this as a worthwhile cause and can support in any way.
