Hi, thanks for visiting my page, I'm raising money for charity running my first ever marathon!

It has always been on the bucket list to run the London Marathon but I have never had the oportunity. I chose to run for Cancer Research as close family members of mine have been affected by cancer.

In March 2016, my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given 9 - 12 months to live. I decided to enter the ballot for the London Marathon  on 3rd May 2016 to raise money and give my Dad a goal to aim for (11 months to see me cross the finish line).

Only 11 days after entering the ballot, my Dad passed away, 14th May 2016. 

In addition, over Christmas of 2016, my Grandma (my Dad's Mum) was daignosed with multiple types of cancer.

I finally got a charity place to run the London Marathon through Cancer Research in January 2017, giving me less than 12 weeks to train!
