Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. This page is for everyone who is cycling from Oxford to London in order to help  raise money for CWB

In Spring 2013 I will be travelling with Cricket Without Boundaries to Africa to spend 2 weeks working with children and adults to help raise awareness of HIV/Aids.

In October 2012 my good friends Vicky, Tim, Sarah, Dewayne & Jimmy have agreed to join me on a 100 mile cycle from Oxford to London in order to raise money for Cricket Without Boundaries. Armed with various props, we will be following the Thames Valley Cycle Path from Oxford to London, aiming to finish at the African embassy to which I will be travelling to (to be confirmed)

Since its formation in 2005 CWB has become one of the world's leading Cricket Development and AIDS awareness charities. It is dedicated to helping, educating and developing local communities around the world through the spread and growth of cricket. It is about personal empowerment, both for adults and for children and I cannot wait to join them in 2013 and get involved in their good work.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. THANK YOU!!

About the charity

Cricket Without Boundaries is dedicated to helping, educating and developing local communities around the world through the spread and growth of cricket. Crucially, CWB also uses cricket as a tool in the fight against AIDS. CWB’s training sessions have at their heart discussion about the disease in terms of prevention, treatment and equality of treatment for those with and without the disease.
