Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Just 12 hours after Henley was born he was rushed to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge for a life threatening operation on his brain, meaning he would spend the first 12 days of his life in hospital.
As soon as Kerri & Dan arrived at the hospital 'The Sick Childrens Trust' offered them a bed at 'Acorn House' this is the house they have at Addenbrookes hospital and they were able to stay for as long as they needed. The house is situated just minutes walk from the main hospital and the intensive care unit Henley was in. For Kerri & Dan, having Acorn house, was a god send, meaning they could go and see Henley day and night and put their minds at rest that he was doing ok which made this horrific journey a little easier.
This is an amazing charity and witnessing what Kerri & Dan had to go through made me want to support this wonderful cause, I never knew they existed and charities like these need our support to be able to continue giving families what they need through terrifying times.
Thank you for your support and donation it's very much appreciated.
