Recently my wife and i lost our son Max Alexander. He was still born on the 19th of March. During this sad time we recieved lots of help and support from SANDS and the Firefighters Charity.

Walking away from Hospital without our son was the worst day of our lives, however before we left we were given a SANDS memory box. In this box was our sons foot and hand prints, a lock of his hair the blanket he was wrapped in and a sands support pack detailing all the support that SANDS can offer. Leaving with that box was a comfort for us, as it felt like we had a small part of our boy with us.

Everyday 17 family's in the UK go home without their babies.

Every £20 raised buys a memory box for one of these families. Every £30 buys a box and funds telephone support for a family.

We are also supporting the Firefighters charity.

The Firefighters charity have 3 rehabilitation and recuperation centres in the UK.

After the funeral my family and i were able to visit the Harcombe house centre in Devon. We spent a week in complete peace in a private bungalow on the site. This was a great help for us to get away from home and try to deal with the tragic loss of Max.

These centres help rehabilitate injured Firefighters and offer recuperation for fire fighters and their families in times of need.

We have set this page up for people to decide what charity to donate to.We are aiming for £1000 to each.

Both these charities have helped my family in our time of need. We feel compelled to give back. This is why we have decided to take on the Taff Trail. We will be completeing the 55 mile trail in under 24 hours, on the 22nd of august 2015. This is a huge task to complete in under 24 hours but we wont be alone, work collegues and friends have volunteerd to do it with us. Together we will raise money and show our support for these two brilliant charities

Please donate to help our cause.

Thank you

Kyle, Amanda,Gracie.
