Story
Hi!
Thank you for popping onto my page!
I love a challenge. If I'm not challenging myself I get bored, and what better excuse to challenge yourself than raising money for charity. In the past I have ran a 10k, half marathon and completed a 3 hour continuous kickboxing marathon. Most recently, I ran the Brighton Marathon for the MTV Staying Alive Foundation and enjoyed it so much I wanted to get involved in more fundraising activities for a variety of charities.
So, the next challenge is the London to Brighton bike ride for The British Heart Foundation with some of my besties, and then I will be taking part in the London Triathlon for Great Ormond Street Hospital in August with some work buddies. I am also really looking forward to doing a couple of marathons in the next year too!
For those of you who have already sponsored me for the Brighton marathon, thank you so much! I am not expecting you to sponsor me for this too, but any donations will be going to a very important charity that does so much for heart disease in the UK.
The length of the bike ride is 54 miles, and I have only just got a bike after not having owned one for over ten years. I am thoroughly looking forward to the training and the event!
For more than 50 years, British Heart Foundation (BHF) researchers have been making life-saving discoveries. Each day in the lab brings us closer to the day when heart disease no longer tears families apart. Every donation helps to fight against heart problems with finding cures.
Thanks for visiting!
