Mary's Meals is an excellent charity that makes a tremendous difference to the lives of school-age children in some of the poorest parts of the world, simply by providing school meals. Often this meal will be the most substantial meal of the day for these children, and so this incentivizes them to attend school. Importantly, it also encourages parents to send their children to school rather than keeping them at home to work.
