Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

JOGLE 4 day Challenge.

I have committed in helping to raise crucial funds for Ben and Oliver by riding the length of the country from John'O'Groats to Lands End over 4 days starting from September 4th...this will involve covering 200+ miles each day with the help of a small support crew to keep me on the straight and narrow!

Please give what you can because even a small donation will go along way to helping the boys...

Ben and Oliver’s challenge is different, it’s a daily challenge, they both suffer with Cerebral palsy which causes extreme tightness/spasticity in all limbs, it effects speech and makes their every day tasks so much harder.

The money raised will go to Tree of Hope who then fund Intense Physio therapy and the life changing operation called SDR.

SDR (Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy) The aim of selective dorsal rhizotomy is to ease muscle spasticity and improve mobility in people with cerebral palsy. It involves cutting nerves in the lower spine that are responsible for muscle rigidity.  An operation which costs up to £60,000, one the NHS does not cover.

Ben and Oliver will benefit from any funds that can be raised to help there progression. Both Ben and Oliver are known to team members and live local to us. I feel this is a perfect reason to help support them and raise as much as we can to give them the treatment and support they deserve.

Donating through Just Giving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Just Giving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity, split 50/50 for Ben & Oliver.

So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
