Our charities have been chosen due to the personal links to our team and are:

Acute Neonatal Transfer Service (ANTS) 

They are a team of senior neonatal doctors, specialist nurses, EBS coordinators and drivers who provide specialist transfer services for babies across the East of England and beyond.

This nomination was from Neil Bramley, whose son Jake wouldn’t be alive today without the help from this charity. 

Jake lost oxygen during birth (2017) and it was 50/50 if he lived for a while and then a very high chance of Brain damage.

Lamaction 

LAM Action is the UK charity for those with Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM), their families and doctors caring for them.

This nomination was from Tom Hipperson, his partner suffered from this disease in her early 20’s but was only diagnosed some 10 years later.  She had a double lung transplant in 2006 and has raised funds for the charity as well as awareness of organ donation ever since.
