This summer I will be trekking up Mount Ben Nevis as part of Penny Appeal's Thirst Relief campaign.  This project aims to provide clean water to rural communities, giving them safe water for drinking, cooking and cleaning, water for their crops and animals and the chance to break out of the poverty cycle.

Your donations will help many deserving people get clean water by building wells across Africa and Asia, and in return you will reap the reward. 

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, "When a man dies his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariya (ceaseless charity), a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him" Abu Hurairah.
