Story

We have 7 challengers taking part in this weight loss challenge for the Laila Milly Foundation.  You can sponsor any of our challengers via this page - please put who you are sponsoring in the notes section so we can keep a running total.

The Laila Milly Foundation are setting up a Siblings Club in March this year, any money raised will be going towards the running of the club.

We have found through running our centre that many of the children's older siblings often feel left out and that their brother or sister with additional needs take up much of their parents time.   The Sibling Club will provide a fun space for these siblings to meet with other children who are in a similar position.  As well as providing craft based activities we hope to be able to take them on excursions such as bowling and trips to the cinema.   Any support you can give to our challengers will be gratefully received.

Many thanks xxx

About the charity

The Laila Milly Foundation was set up in 2010 by Maya & Steve McCormack after their daughter Laila was born with a rare neurological condition. Sadly Laila passed away a day before her 1st birthday. They set up a day respite centre in West Yorkshire to provide care for disabled children aged 0-5.
