Story
On Sunday 13th May I shall be taking part in a cycle sportive called the Hampshire Hilly Hundred.
The clue is in the name - yes, it is 100 miles long, and involves lots of hills, with a total ascent of 2,343m. This is the equivalent of climbing Ben Nevis (1,344m) and Scafell Pike (978m) together, plus a bit more for good measure!
The organisers have estimated a finishing time for my category of 7hrs 28 minutes so I wanted an incentive to help me cross that finishing line. I have been inspired by the work of Marie Curie nurses, and by fundraising efforts of great friends in their cause, so this is my way of contributing to them.
Any amount you can give will be gratefully received - even a pound will keep me going for each penny per mile!
A huge thank you, Larissa xx
