The goal for Walkathon 2010 is to 'Build a home for the brave in Birmingham'.

The money raised by the BRMB Walkathon 2010 will help the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity, the new hospital’s official charity, to develop additional facilities that would not normally be found in a hospital.

This will be a dedicated space, away from the clinical areas, where the injured troops and their families will be able to recuperate, relax and socialise together in a comfortable, supportive setting.
