I will be eternally grateful to the team that saved my wonderful grandad's life thirty two years ago when he was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Without the advances in medical research and expertise, I would never have known my amazing grandad. He was a loving brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who always put others before himself. He was one in a million.
