Barclays Stairclimb Challenge to the top of 1Churchill Place · 23 November 2012

WDC, Whale and Dolphin Conservation (formerly WDCS) is the leading global charity dedicated to the conservation and protection of whales and dolphins. We defend these remarkable creatures against the many threats they face. Our vision is a world where every whale and dolphin is safe and free.

Story

I've decided to set myself an end of year challenge - racing to the top of the Barclays buidling in One Churchill Place (there are 900 stairs for me to tackle) on Friday 23rd November.

As you all probably know, I have a soft spot for most creatures in the animal kingdom - particularly ones that are hugely mistreated by humans, and whales and dolphins most definitely fall into that category. The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society takes action to stop the threats that whales and dolphins face, to protect them and the places they live, and to educate as many people as possible about these issues.

Any contribution is hugely appreciated and you'll know that you have contributed to a really worthwhile cause that doesn't always get as much attention as it should.

Aside from that, the pain I'm going to feel on Saturday needs to be justified!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you,

Laura
