This year on 03.03.23, we will mark my baby daughters 3rd birthday/anniversary.  

Our daughter Eilidh Rachel Costello died suddenly and unexpectedly following a rare and untreatable case of PPHN hours after birth.  We should have brought home our 2nd baby, but instead, we live any parents worst nightmare and will do for the rest of our lives.  We have been torn apart and our hearts broken, but we will not let our daughters short life be in vein.  We will create a legacy for her in any ways we can. We will forever carry this pain, but we will carry our daughter in our hearts.  She is forever missed, never forgotten, and always loved. 

Baby Loss Retreat are a small local charity who have supported me incredibly these last 3 years, by providing counselling, a family stay at their retreat, annual memorial services, and someone always on the end of the phone to chat to.  I am forever grateful to them for the work they do to support me and other families like mine. 

EIlidh’s number is 3. Born on the 3rd day, of the 3rd month, in room 3, I aim to walk 3k per day for 30days and raise £333.00 to mark her 3rd birthday.  I will begin on 1st February.
