Hi all, thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. My little sis and I are running our first ever race on 2nd October to raise some funds for Macmillan. Neither of us are natural born runners so it will certainly be a challenge!

We have chosen this amazing charity for the support it provides to patients from diagnosis and throughout treatment. As some of you may know this awful illness has affected a family close to me and Emma, our bestie Michelle Dutton and her family received the news that her mum Lynn had oesophageal cancer this year. After a long battle which Lynn has tackled head on, she is now recovering and is literally the strongest woman we know!! Macmillan have helped the whole family through this time with the support they provided. 

Fundraising is hugely important to Macmillan. Without people doing events, running marathons, climbing mountains, and donating in all the other ways that you can, Macmillan wouldn’t exist.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
