Story
I had always dreamed of having princess hair for my wedding day, but now that's been and gone I want someone else to get the same joy out of my hair.
It must be hard enough for young children to be going through something as horrific as cancer and chemotherapy, but to also lose their hair and their identity as a result must be just as tough.
The Little Princess Trust is close to my heart for three reasons:
- The people I've lost to cancer
- The people that have survived cancer
- The people that are currently fighting cancer
If donating my hair brightens a child's day even for just a moment, then it's worth every strand and worth me going back to having "boy hair."
I'm asking for your donations because making a wig doesn't stop with the donated hair, it can take up to three donations and £350 to make a single wig for a sick child.
The Little Princess Trust work closely with the children to create a wig that's as close to their natural hair as it can be, so that child can feel as comfortable and as normal as possible. Oh and they do this for FREE, NOTHING, NADA, ZIP.
So please, even if its just a cheeky pound, dip into your pocket and help me help make a wig for a child with cancer.
The haircut will of course be funded by myself and I will be donating at least 7 inches of premium Laura locks.
