I have chosen to run for a UK based charity called Shaw Trust. They are focused on employment services for people with a disability or at disadvantage in the UK. It is such an amazing charity and empowers people to lead more self-reliant and rewarding lives which includes enabling their families, communities and businesses to support them. 

The reason I chose this charity is that it is great to be able to give people with disability or disadvantage a chance to overcome the obstacles of everyday work and independence. This charity may not have affected you directly, but that is almost a reason to give................
