Story

This month, I am taking on the challenge to MAKE a freedom quilt for Sophie Hayes Foundation.

This unique charity puts the survivor at the centre of their activities and removes  barriers to sustainable freedom by helping each woman develop confidence, skills and opportunities to work and become independent - and truly free.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I can do a lot of things. I can cook up a storm, run a business, speak at conferences, party like 1999...but I cannot sew.

No, not at all. Not even a button.

So my challenge this month is to make a freedom quilt of my own design. And I am asking you to sponsor me, square by square.

There are 25 large squares, each made up of 9 smaller squares (I must be mad!).

Can you sponsor each square and help create a new life of freedom.

Thank you - I will let you know how I get on - day by day!
