Last year my lovely mummy, Alison, was taken from us too soon by cancer. The six months it took, from diagnosis to her death, were incredibly hard. The one constant for her throughout this time was the care and support she received from the team at the Hospice in The Weald. 

The weekly home visits, support with symptom and pain management, then during her time as an inpatient were invaluable to her as she felt cared for and safe. 

This July I turn 40 and to mark this milestone I will be running 26.2 miles around London on 2nd October. Every donation I receive, I will MATCH £ for £, whether this is £5, £20, £50 or £100, which means YOU will help me raise DOUBLE the amount of money for the Hospice. Every penny raised will go directly to the Hospice in the Weald, which relies on charitable funding each year to care for hundreds of families and their loved ones.
