Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running my first ever Marathon in April for Francis House Children's Hospice and hoping to raise over £2,000 for the charity.

Having run a half marathon a couple of years ago, I swore I'd never put on a pair of running shoes ever again, but when Francis House asked if I'd run the marathon for them I didn't hesitate to say yes (5 months later, I'm slightly regretting it!).

Please donate as much as you can to support Francis House and also to motivate on this mammoth task of a gruelling 26.2 mile run and also through the next four months of long and seemingly never ending training runs.

I didn't realise just how tough training to run a marathon would be... or how much it would take over my life so I really appreciate everyone's support.

Thank you, Laura x
