Story
In memory of 2 incredible girls - my wife Laura Daniels (nee Witheridge) and her sister Hannah Witheridge. Both unbelievably beautiful inside and out. The pair of them achieved greatness in lives which were unfairly cut short (Laura 30 when we lost her 16.9.19 and Hannah 23 when we lost her 15.9.14).
I’ve never had any motivation to run 🏃♂️a marathon, but this year at the end of January I decided to push myself and go for it. I believe this desire has been driven from watching Laura’s determination to never give up or stop pushing herself whilst having to deal with massive adversity. She continues to guide me even since her passing.
I’ve signed up for the Chester Marathon which is on 4th October. If it gets postponed, I will run a Norfolk marathon on that day and will run Chester on any revised date.
In December 2019, I was experiencing a running injury and so I bought a road bike to help strengthen and do some alternative exercise. In February, I also signed up for the Tour De Broads Summer 100 mile cycle 🚴♂️. This should have been on the 16th August but has slightly changed to the Tour De Broads Rally Old Buckenham where I will be completing 100 miles on 26th July with my mate Chris Locksmith.
I’m feeling pretty confident I have the cycle covered but I have a lot of work to do to become Marathon ready!
FAITH animal rescue is a fantastic local charity, we’ve personally had many animals from there as have friends and they need our support. Any donations would be kindly appreciated. Many thanks.
